GM Selects ADP as Provider of Integrated Dealer Management System

- GM-branded dealers can now choose ADP's w.e.b.Suite(TM) Dealer Management System to drive dealership profitability across all departments -

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors announced today that it designated ADP Dealer Services, the leading provider of fully integrated, Web-enabled dealership management systems (DMS), as a General Motors Integrated Dealer Management System (IDMS) endorsed provider.

GM's IDMS program simplifies technology requirements for its dealers by endorsing DMS solutions that seamlessly integrate data between GM dealers and GM's internal systems. This faster and easier transfer of information streamlines operations, increases productivity, assists with management of parts inventories and improves customer service.
ADP will launch w.e.b.Suite GM IDMS as its IDMS offering for GM-branded North American retailers, including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER, Pontiac and SAAB dealers, at this year's NADA Convention in February. Built on ADP's evolutionary w.e.b.Suite platform, w.e.b.Suite GM IDMS will be available as either an on-site or ASP Managed Services model.

Customized Desktops and Real-Time Information Increase Dealership Performance

ADP's w.e.b.Suite GM IDMS will offer GM dealers an IDMS that includes access to a "full view" of each customer, featuring open and updated transactions, contact-preference information and sales and service history; and real-time information on key business metrics, such as sales numbers, repair orders and service requests. These features will help dealership managers make better decisions and increase customer satisfaction.

Additional features of w.e.b.Suite GM IDMS will include a month-to-month contract between GM and the dealer, consistent prices for the contract term, select services for GM dealers and GM integration points included in the price. GM and ADP also have available optional software and hardware items that allow dealers to enhance w.e.b.Suite GM IDMS for their needs.
